  Which server WUAU connects to is determined by the registry
settings.  If it's your WSUS server, it will go there.  If it's not
set, it's Microsoft's server.  If it's connecting to Microsoft's
server and not yours, then that setting isn't set.

  That's all under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

  "WUAUCLT /detectnow" will force a detection cycle, and if an admin
is logged in they will get the systray install prompt, but it won't
force install or reboot.

  I know I've seen several scripts to force a full install and reboot.
