Many of the suggestions I would not consider mini printers. It seems in the realm of mini portable printers its either the HPs the OPs been using or the Canon model I suggested. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jonathan Link To: NT System Admin Issues Sent: Tuesday, November 03, 2009 2:31 PM Subject: Re: Looking for small printer
Isn't that just a bit unfair? OP: I'm looking for a mini-printer, HP's support sucks lately, and I'm not as familiar with other lines, anyone have suggestions? (I inferred from this that he was looking for some specific model recommendations from this post). You: I buy the small dell printers. Response: Are these portable? Model? (again, I inferred that's what he was asking for above, now he's being quite clear) You: There are many models, go to www.dell.com I'm responding because, I've been to dell.com and have been making my initial survey in just such a topic. Now, I'm going to ask quite clearly. What do you have that is portable, that works, and that you're happy with? Let me guess...it was from www.dell.com. I think the last one I got was a color laser printer for under $150. The small Black and White lasers are about $90. Until recently we've had luck with the HP OfficeJet H470 units, but our last round, almost every unit failed out of the box. HP made us spend hours on the phone "trouble shooting" until we got HP to acknowledge the units were c-r-a-p. So, I'm looking for other small printers. And after my techs spending (wasting) hours with HP, I don't want to use HP. Suggestions?
