You know 123 is the NTP port, right?

Did anyone get my last e-mail with the pictures? I did not get a copy

You most likely don't have the HTTP server command enabled.

If you can't telnet to it, then you need to set an access password on
VTY 0 4...but I prefer SSH instead.

So something like...

Conf t

Line Vty 0 4

Login (or login local)

Password hereismycoolpassword

Telnet or ssh to them?

If that is not an option, then use a console server. (I use a Raritan
Console server for switches and routers in my server room)

I am having difficulties setting up a Cisco Catalyst 2950 Switch with a
network connection. I have 8 of them and would like to manage them from
my desk rather than physically in the server room, switching the console
cable for each one.

I have already assigned a VLAN1 ip address with subnet and a default
gateway. I have assigned a different HTTP port. Unfortunately, that is
where I sit and am still unable to connect via browser.

If anyone is willing to help me I would appreciate it. This could be
direct e-mail rather than through the forum.

Thanks,
