Wait.

Are you sure that's by default?

I leave my home Win7 logged on with my domain account all the time, and when I 
RDP in from work, I get my same session and the local console is locked.

I just RDP'ed in and attempted to log on with a different account and got the 
"local user will be logged off to continue" msg.

I know there's a trmsrv.dll hack... but not out of the box...
