Okay, this is a bit easier, as you want to protect the folder itself, primarily.
The caveats I mentioned with MSOffice will not apply. Additionally, the folder was never deleted, it was moved -- due to an inadvertent drag/drop, no doubt. This is not exactly the same problem as you thought. I'll have to test the folder permissions that are needed. If they're just copying the files via explorer, then this is doable (using special perms). If you're using an app, especially a Microsoft Office app, then in some cases it's not possible.
