not yet, tried the takeown utility in vista and it didn't work.  I can
get in the the user folder but there are sub folders like my docs that
it won't give me access to.

        I've never had issues with this before but this one has me
stumped.  I have a drive out of a users vista pc that died.  In the past
I've been able to take ownership of the users or Doc/settings dir and
get the files copied off but for some reason this one won't let me.  I
can try to take ownership but it won't do it.  Tried on an XP and Vista
machine.  Google is failing me, any ideas?
