We have Shockwave on about 100 systems here (of 400+), and we also have Flash
Player on several systems. Flash, Shockwave, Reader, I'm getting proficient at
pushing updates via SMS except the aforementioned uninstall of old Shockwave.
10.x I can find instructions for, 11.x I can't.

Now that I said that I'll get LMGTFY'd....

Just to be clear, are we talking about Adobe Flash Player or Adobe Shockwave
Player, since they get confused very easily. Flash Player is used by lots of
websites, Shockwave not so much. I wouldn't expect to push Shockwave in a
business environment, might even banish it altogether if possible.

If it's Flash Player, I've noticed that 10e will replace or uninstall 10d, but
prior to that, previous versions weren't removed. Removing the old one is as
easy as deleting the flash10d.ocx or flash10c.ocx, etc.

As a best practice you do want old insecure versions removed.

If I install the latest version of Shockwave Player and don't uninstall the old
version...anyone know if the machine will automatically use the newer version?
Pushing the new version via SMS is easy. Removing the old one...notsomuch...
