So far, they are home while being paid. Good time to get a job hunt going.
If they were smart, they already have documentation saying that they didn't think it was a good idea, OR, showing that they were only operating it for its intended use -- tracking stolen laptops. And they already have lawyers involved. So, it remains to be seen who the losers will be.
