Problems were rare. As I said, we never regretted the move. When problems did 
occur, though, they were generally related to drivers (not hardware) or 
poorly-written software.

And when I say "poorly-written," I mean software that does things like assuming 
users will have admin rights or trying to stick temporary files in the Windows 
folder instead of the user's temp folder. And we ran into a couple of apps that 
weren't digitally signed, which created a problem (and is inexcusable because 
it's REALLY easy for developers to sign their apps).

  So, basically, either the software didn't work, or the hardware
didn't work.  Right.  Thanks for narrowing it down.  :)

  In my experience, 90% of the software in the world, including 90% of
Microsoft's stuff, falls into the category of "poorly-written".
