Correct. Law office with billable hours.
Who or what did you use to train your 35 people? Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jonathan Link" < jonathan .link@ gmail .com> To: "NT System Admin Issues" < ntsysadmin @ lyris .sunbelt-software.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 7, 2010 10:22:20 AM Subject: Re: Office 2010 training Training for introduction to the ribbon, essentially a new features class is pretty cheap. I think we ran our 35 people through for about $1500, it might've been even less. A good way to bolster the training argument, take an interested, technically inclined user and put them on 2010 ahead of time (set their saving to compatibility mode). Chances are they'll confirm that training would be helpful. Also, you mention legal environment, do you mean law office? Billable hours? We are hoping to migrate from a very old Office suite. I know that MS has some basic Power Point presentations introducing the Ribbon and all that. Any recommendations and success/failure stories regarding this type of a move? Thanks.
