I have a cool van that has six cylinders. When I drive economically it only uses 3 or 4 of them. When I drive aggressively it uses all six. Gets me great mileage. I strive to only use a part of the engine. Saves me money. When I want to drag the mustangs, I use all six and give them a good run. I am paying for the technology.
