It's not a blank check to just do whatever you want and think you're protected, that's true. But neither are seat belts and yet seat belts are still a good idea.
I absolutely encourage residential users to install MSE - because 75% of them won't install ANYTHING if they don't. And MSE is an awful lot better than nothing, and even better than some of the free products out there. Ben M.
