I've been using NEWT for a few years, not cheap, but works very well... From: Paul Hutchings [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2010 11:27 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Software Auditing/Inventory?
What do you all use for this please? We're looking for something and of course you have lots of products all of which promise a lot. The sort of things we're looking to do is run regular scans of PC's to capture installed software, recognised, unrecognised software, keep track of how many instances of Package X we have installed vs. how many we have licensed.
