I once complained that a Firefox beta was way slow and was told that the betas have a number of additional checks enabled that aren't there in general releases. It's akin to a "checked build" in Microsoft terms. So it may be apples and oranges. I'm not betting either way at this point. "It's all vaporware until the product ships." I'm also somewhat unhappy that Firefox has incorporated functionality from add-ons into the core browser. Sure, I used a lot of those addons, but the choice was there and should have remained there. All they would have to do is adopt the addons into their codebase and ship them installed by default. Those who wanted something leaner could still have easily removed them then. Sigh. I can't resist pointing out the irony in a Microsoft fan complaining that someone else's product is bloated. ;-) -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
