See, now - Chrome has never locked up on me at all. I completely believe Google is the debbil (Adobe is son of the debbil), particularly with all the gov't concession and ties that Schimdt has, but the technology just works (for me anyway).

Google is like Microsoft was 20 years ago in privacy (they are an ad machine on a search engine and have made consistent mis-steps regarding security and user privacy). 2. I have Chrome lock up/crash more then IE at this point across several systems. I don't run a bunch of addons, etc but they would be the same across both and (flash, pdf) I really don't care if it's the plug in if it locks up my browsing experience I can't browse. 3. Chrome irritated me early on for some reason I can't remember so I am still dragging around that initial irritation.
