I ass*u*me you meant "... because Office Standard *WAS* installed...", as what you wrote makes no sense the other way. > Office Pro. No problem... My tech installed Office Pro. No solution, but here are a few things that come to mind. Is Office Pro installed on the host or the XPVM? If on the host, can you install it just on the XPVM? Does the test-taker account have admin rights on the XPVM? You mention that CP needs admin rights. You might want to watch registry activity using that sysinternals tool (regmon?) while it works. The non-admin account may need extra rights in the registry for Certiport to work. Can you use VirtualBox instead of XPVM? It's GPLv2 software, so it's free even in a business environment. virtualbox.org Fun times .... -- Angus Scott-Fleming GeoApps, Tucson, Arizona 1-520-290-5038 Security Blog: http://geoapps.com/ ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
