The "white paper" request tells me that she has "color" as her default
paper for tray 1.

I just went through all those settings, they appear identical to other
users who are printing fine.

Seems weird that the problem is only in Word. Any other office app will
print to any tray she tells it to.

I even deleted the key: HKCU/Software/MS/Office/12/Word

No go.

Another update:

When she prints something in word to "tray 1" - the copier says
"required resources are unavailable" - and it wants you to load 8.5 x 11
white paper... which is exactly what is in that tray.

It's like Word isn't telling the printer that she's sending 8.5x11 paper
to that tray.

Go to printers and right click on the printer. just below the "OPEN"
selection is printing prefs.

So it's related to her id?

There's some application data under docs/settings, like maybe
normal.dot.

Subject: Word 2007 only prints to default tray

I have a user who can't print from Word 2007 to any specific tray on the
printer (other than the default tray).

Word always goes to the default tray, no matter what tray you tell it to
go to.

This happens for all Word documents.

All other office apps are printing properly to any tray you select.

I checked page setup, and it is selected "default (automatically
select)".

However, if I log on to her computer as me, I can print from Word to any
tray just fine.

Any ideas?
