+1. I set up parental controls on my teenage nephew's computer but he kept trying to get around or disable them. All attempts ended when the PC was moved so that anyone walking into his bedroom would have an immediate view of the monitor...

I have found that computers in public areas of the house solves so many potential issues. More then most of the 'technological' solutions do actually.
