Gary, thank you for your concern. I *did* Google the answer and I did try the "Diagnostic utility" that Trend provides. No luck with either. The only other option Trend offers on their website is to hack the registry. I don't want to, nor do I feel I should have to hack the registry to uninstall something.

I'm trying to load Vipre Home Premium on it, but I want to get rid of Trend first. The uninstall utility from Trend's website doesn't do squat. Any ideas on how to get rid of Trend? It refuses to uninstall from the add/remove programs and as I say the uninstall utility doesn't do a thing! :( Thanks! ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
