My only input would be to keep in mind that most of the documentation you see
from Dell on Equallogic, particularly configuration guides, is often written
with PowerConnect's in mind, especially if the guide goes down to syntax level.

So long as you're using non-blocking switches with low latency and support for
things like jumbo frames and flow control you have plenty of choice and odds
are it'll all work - for our LeftHand we use HP switches, for our Equallogic we
use PowerConnect, I'm sure either could be substituted for the other with
little drama.

Subject: Opinion on iSCSI switch to use for Equalogic SAN

I was thinking of getting a pair of the PowerConnect 7024 switches for our SAN.

Has anyone had any good or bad experience with a setup like this? It will only
be used for iSCSI. I could go the Juniper or Cicso route, but don't need all
those extra features or cost.
