I finally got around to testing the new kernel builds, but without much success.
The most recent kernels (from 2010) fail to start at all for me. I get to the "Welcome to Linux Second-Stage Boot Loader", and it goes until "Restarting at 0x00b2610c", but then hangs. Kernels from October 19-25 get past "adb: finished probe task", but then give a "hda: lost interrupt" repeating message and fail to progress further. Kernel from October 14 has more success, but even fails (attempting to kill init) because it fails to mount the ramdisk (I think).
