If you’re using the code from the Blink docs verbatim, the plugin class is named BlinkBlurAndGain, not blinkBlurAndGainExamplePlugin. Thus, the first thing I would try is renaming the compiled lib to `BlinkBlurAndGain.so`.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised if the plugin continues failing to load because of your compiler version. Stick to GCC 4.1.2. -Nathan From: Nik Yotis Sent: Monday, May 19, 2014 9:29 AM To: [email protected] ; Nik Yotis Subject: [Nuke-dev] Blink plugin run-time failure (nuke 8.0v1 |linux.centos6.x86_64 | g++4.4.7) I build the NDK examples on linux and a toy Blink plugin with a makefile that uses g++4.4.7 the plugin becomes visible, but i have a runtime failure. "log" below: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> RuntimeError: /disk1/nik-y/playpen/dev/nuke_dev/NDK/examples/blinkBlurAndGainExamplePlugin.so: plugin did not define blinkBlurAndGainExamplePlugin the dev guide recommends g++4.1, i used 4.4.7 to build. you think this causes me the error? Also, is there any on-going work for supporting LLVM for mac OS X. the recommended GCC 4.0 is archaeology, I am sure you agree cheers -- Nik Yotis | Software Engineer/3D Graphics R&D BlueBolt Ltd | 15-16 Margaret Street | London W1W 8RW | T: +44 (0)20 7637 5575 | F: +44 (0)20 7637 3296 | www.blue-bolt.com | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Nuke-dev mailing list [email protected], http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/ http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-dev
