If I'm not mistaken you should be able to get inside Nuke whatever you
want, if you cached it via alembic/cortex.

I'm also interested in what the final frame render workflow is (I have to
admit I just skimmed over a while ago the docs and haven't tried it myself,
still can't get to it...).
