hey all well since the faro focus3D system is well out of my range what are the thoughts using a kinect and software to do some basic room scanning.
I understand the quality pales in comparison to the Faro I was hoping to get others experiences on this Using Mac osx. I guess as with the scott metzger example work flow on beautiful creatures he is only using the scan for a reference to build a model from but once again he would be starting with a far more detailed base.
