Potential newbie question but i'm having a tough time finding a way to map a
screen onto a hole in some footage because the footage is very low contrast and
i can only see 3 of the 4 corners. I'm fairly new to Nuke and would appreciate
any guidance or pointers.

I've tried the PlanarTracker and it really can't hold the track, i've
experimented with the settings but not been able to get a solid track from that
approach.

The 2D tracker seems to be able to track a little better with lots of
keyframing help but i can only get 3 corner points and a Corner Pin needs 4. I
tried offsetting a 4th point elsewhere on the track but the cornerpoint node
seems to ignore the offset value.

It strikes me that with 3 points and a rectangle that ought to be enough.

Is there any way i can apply the 3 points to a 3D card perhaps? One of the
tasks i need is to recess the image a little, so a 3D solution would be useful.
the shot isn't moving enough to do a 3D Camera track either.

So with 3 tracker points what sort of approach could i use to get that in 3D
space or a corner pin?

Really appreciate any ideas
cheers
Paul
