Hi Randy
Well of course you are right but so far I have found mint to be the most
accessible and workable distro for my basic linux understanding ( but im
learning fast :))
Its based on unbuntu and runs Nuke perfectly as well as Houdini Mantra 3D
Equalizer silhouette and Mocha RV etc
It looks and feels great especially under Xfce . You can configure nvidia
easily and wacom runs perfectly and is configurable
So for me right now mint is just great across a whole range of tools
I tried centos and fedora and all the usuals and ended up screaming and
wanting to slowly remove the brain matter from my skull with a blunt spoon

2 things. Neil why aren't you running a linux that is more broadly
supported?
Daniel have you thought about using kick starter to fund more time for you to
add features? That way it could stay free but big companies might toss some
cash your way for support they need.
Its awesome dude. Thanks I have been using it since you guys made it free.

Hi Neil, glut should be installed from your package manager (Synaptic) or using
plain old apt-get, probably under the name libfreeglut3 or simply glut3
It is a pretty standard library (OpenGL Utility Toolkit)
Greetings.
Daniel.

You are absolutely right, I don't know why the libs are not in the tar file.
Must have slipped by. You can download them from:
http://download.xnview.com/GflSDK-Linux64-x86.tgz
Any other libs missing should be installed using your package manager, except
for the one above all of them are pretty standard.
Greetings!

Tried on Linux mint
shared lib files not included in downloaded tar ball - nor does the link to
the files work.
Your help file readme has a link to Orange website to download lib.so's ...?
No luck installing for me.

Hello! Just letting people know that I have just released a new version of
JefeCheck that fixes a couple of annoying bugs.
1. JefeCheck used to crash A LOT when pausing and starting playback using
the spacebar. This is now fixed.
2. JefeCheck on Linux is now compiled against a more common glibc++
(GLIBCXX_3.4.13) so it should be easier to install on a greater variety of
distros.
You can download the latest version from http://jefecheck.jefecorp.com
I currently have very little time to work on new features but I am slowly but
surely moving along so any feedback is important and appreciated. Also, if you
use it, please like JefeCheck on Facebook and spread the word with anybody that
might be interested.
Thanks!
