Indeed, the Quadro SDI option would arguably be best, given the amount of Flames in the world that could be immediately retooled to run both softwares and given that this machine would be the one which would be delivering things, quicktime support on Lunix becomes more and more of an issue.
Here’s one that I just thought of, does Nuke studio share the same level of project compatibility as Heiro so that a show that’s completed in the front room, can be passed off to the back room or assistant for deliverables and versions. This would be a fairly nice way to get around some of that codec malarky that we will all face on Linux.
