I would like to add my vote for a theory mailing list. I think that Jeff's theories are the way to head with AI, and I want to stay in touch with the newest theoretical developments, but I don't currently have the time or the resources to participate with the practical implementation. The emails about implementation of algorithms for me are just noise that makes it hard to connect with the elements I'm interested in.
