Thanks for taking the time to clean up this driver. I occasionally work on the tripplite_usb driver, but I have not had much of a chance to test that against units that have both serial and USB connections. I suspect that a lot of the code could be shared between the two drivers, though. Do you know what protocol number the Smart 700 uses?
