Ok, so I have to install the "subversion" package from Canonical repositories and see how it works. I start studying now (ehm... no, not really "now"... tomorrow morning...). When I download a trunk I have to compile the "entire" NUT or I have to compile only the UPS driver to test? Maybe it's better to make up everything, just to test the "whole" code? > it then depends on what you want to follow, and possibly if you want to > help more (ie by providing a buildbot, contributing, ...) Ok so... google-->"buildbot".... sorry, this is the first FOSS project in which I contribute... > I'm sure Arjen will be happy to have a beta tester for his new blazer > driver ;-) LOL, ok, the first step is to understand well how to use the various tools available (subversion, etc.) and then I can also start reading the code of the drivers (I have little experiences at University about C and Java). My final target would be contributing to the code, if I'm able to, obviously... -- Fr3ddie [email protected] Home Page: http://www.fr3ddie.it OpenPGP Public Key available on my website _______________________________________________ Nut-upsdev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsdev
