Read man ups.conf and man usbhid-ups and try setting the required values in
ups.conf. For example
[Eaton]
driver = usbhid-ups
port = auto
desc = "Eaton 5sc 500i"
offdelay = 30
ondelay = 40
lowbatt = 37
