Looks like it was the correct bug, but I didn't notice Anurag's comment and
change in the title.
This bug is actually a GUI bug, where the GUI should be validating the data
input, which is now is, and it *is* fixed in SVN.
I cloned the bug for the NWAM core side of things, which is bug#10236
