Bob, do you have nwamd debug logs for this? Specifically I'm looking for
messages around including the wlan word.
As I have said, I've seen an issue where calling nwam_wlan_select() without a
specific BSSID seems to not connect but instead gives a timeout error.
I would be interested to see if you see that message too.
