Firstly, I'm confused about what this bug is referring to, since you're
mentioning network-preferences and the summary refers to the icon on the panel.

Secondly, it could be valid that despite hme[123] being disconnected that
things are seen as being correct - it all depends on the group mode - e.g. at
least one is active, all need to be active or only 1 is permitted to be active.

Could you provide the output of nwamadm list -x for this, as well as the
contents of the /etc/nwam/ncp-Automatic.conf file.

As for network-preferences not showing an i/f - it only is meant to show i/fs
that are enabled in the status panel, but should be showing all the items in
the NCP configuration panel, so I need to know which it is.

Again, this bug is for the icon, but you're referring to the properties dialog,
but also, the status page doesn't show inactive interfaces - maybe this is a
separate bug if you want to see them, but the UI spec says not to show disabled
i/fs...

Hmm - as for it going green - could you please run :

   /usr/lib/nwam-manager --debug

and provide a log of the output so that I can see what may be happening.
