The test for this is to create a new object (location, enm/vpn and wlan) and
you should be able to modify the name and/or essid if the item hasn't been
committed (i.e. OK hasn't been clicked on the main dialog).

You can verify something hasn't been committed by running nwamcfg - if it's not
listed there, it's not committed... 

So for a location (and now an enm/vpn to be in RC4) the rename button should
reflect this "can rename" state - it should be active if not committed, and
inactive if committed. This is read from the libnwam API, so hopefully it works
as expected!

As for wlans, that's just if you're able to "edit" the wlan, and the essid
field is editable or not.
