--- Comment #3 from Darren Kenny <dkenny at opensolaris.org> 2009-10-16 11:43:33 UTC --- The test for this is to create a new object (location, enm/vpn and wlan) and you should be able to modify the name and/or essid if the item hasn't been committed (i.e. OK hasn't been clicked on the main dialog). You can verify something hasn't been committed by running nwamcfg - if it's not listed there, it's not committed... So for a location (and now an enm/vpn to be in RC4) the rename button should reflect this "can rename" state - it should be active if not committed, and inactive if committed. This is read from the libnwam API, so hopefully it works as expected!
