1. - having switch to User profile, switching back to automatic profile all
interfaces remain offline.
2. - booting system with Automatic profile active, interfaces are onling
executing nwamadm enable -p ncp User - all interfaces go offline
then exectuing nwamadm enable -p ncp Automatic all interfaces remain off line
3. - having set User profile active, reboot system - all interfaces come up
online.
- execute nwamadm enable -p ncp Automatic, all interfaces are now offline
WORKAROUND:-
svcadm disable svc:/network/nis/client:default
nwamadm enable -p ncp User
- switch to user is successful (may need to wait a few seconds for switch to
complete)
- in User profile, in User location disable NIS - it is then possible to switch
back to Automatic profile
transferring to daemon
