So, I think we're all agreed that decimal-only is the best approach for the
prefix length... we now just need to make sure the user is alerted at input
validation time if they type in something after the '/' that isn't a valid
decimal value.  Updating bug title accordingly.

The alert message could be something like:

<large><b>Invalid Prefix Length</b></large>
IPv6 prefix length must be a decimal value 
in the range 0-127.
