--- Comment #7 from Calum Benson <calum.benson at sun.com> 2009-12-09 15:37:01 UTC --- Okay, having thought about it a bit, I think it probably does work better just to tweak the existing label and behaviour slightly. My initial thought of maybe using two radio buttons instead just gets too messy in practice. If we change the 'nsswitch file' label to something like 'Custom nsswitch file', I think it would make the behaviour a bit clearer: --- Custom nsswitch file: [ FileChooser Button ] [ Default ] --- Behaviour: * When going from 1 service checked to >1 service checked, Default button becomes disabled. * When going from >1 service checked to 1 service checked, Default button becomes enabled. * When nsswitch file property has a value, the filename is shown in the file chooser buton. * When Default button is clicked, nsswitch file property is cleared and file chooser button shows <None>. However, since it's (hopefully) now more obvious that the Default button is really just for clearing the nsswitch file property, I'm not sure "Default" is such a clear label any more. Maybe "Clear" or "Reset" instead? Any other suggestions? Does anyone think we also need to show the filename that nwamd is using, when it has chosen automatically? -- Configure bugmail: http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
