logging against GUI for initial evaluation.

Having BFU'd to B132 and added latest NWAM GUI packages
System originally configured as NIS client.
(also see http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=12567)

svcadm disable svc:/network/physical:default
svcadm enable svc:/network/physical:nwam

reboot.
Login as e.g. root, ping <server on network>
ping: unknown host <server on network>

svcs -a | grep nis
offline 16:31:27 svc:/network/nis/client:default

bash-4.0# svcs -x
svc:/system/identity:domain (system identity (domainname))
State: maintenance since Thu Jan 28 16:05:06 2010
Reason: Restarting too quickly.
   See: http://sun.com/msg/SMF-8000-L5
   See: domainname(1M)
   See: defaultdomain(4)
   See: /var/svc/log/system-identity:domain.log
Impact: 2 dependent services are not running. (Use -v for list.)

svc:/system/name-service-cache:default (name service cache)
State: maintenance since Thu Jan 28 16:05:06 2010
Reason: Restarting too quickly.
   See: http://sun.com/msg/SMF-8000-L5
   See: nscd(1M)
   See: /var/svc/log/system-name-service-cache:default.log
Impact: This service is not running.

workaround:-
ypinit -c, reboot
system comes up correctly as NIS client
