Hi,

I remember a lot of past rumbles used templates.

So, I've not tried these with Rails 3 ... Yet.
I wondered what people's experiences were.

I guess typically if you can generate a template based app that does
registration/authentication/basic roles out of the box, it's going to
save HUGE amounts of time.

We (at work) have typically used acl9/authlogic, but I know people use
others.

Have you found templates useful for rapid application building /
prototyping?

I'm available for the Rumble as Mexico isn't happening. Due to my
lazy late registration of the Rumble I don't have a team / been
advised by the rumble organisers that it's unlikely any spaces will be
free'd up now. Give us a yell (http://twitter.com/oceanician) if you
fancy an extra collaborator ?

Perhaps we can have a name check of who'se actually doing the rumble?
Sure we can help each other out virtually, rather than the originally
face to face buzz I was thinking. Perhaps the nwrug irc channel?

Cheers,

Ian :)
