Thanks for the info. Just wanted to reiterate that men are welcome at
the events, if they don't have a lady they want to bring with them,
they could always let us know and they could come as one of the
organisers guests. We try and be inclusive for everyone, but as you
said it's a male dominated sector, we feel that women also need
support for that too.
We want to be empowering, but are by no means trying to appear
discriminatory. Apologies if that is how it comes across. We do try
and stress men are welcome at any of our events. For our previous
event last week, we had a good number of men turn up, everyone seem to
enjoy themselves. I'll make sure I don't make any errors in the posts
again. Sorry.
