If you're wanting the simplest integration without masses of files your asset pipeline in rails will not like, I would recommend WYSIHTML5<https://github.com/xing/wysihtml5>or even its twitter bootstrap version <https://github.com/jhollingworth/bootstrap-wysihtml5>
Both TinyMCE and CKEditor will give you a BAD TIME with asset pipeline, customization and extending.
