Just bought a clearance IBM card that is a rebranded Lucent/Orinoco Silver... and it sucks: * The software is old Lucent software. You can't use Lucent client software with this card due to how it identifies itself (in Windows) * The driver is similarly old. Can't use the Lucent driver without mega hassles. The card, however, works great in my AP-1000 - just plug it in, and off it goes. Which makes sense, since it is the same device as a Lucent Silver. Does anyone know of a way to reflash these private label cards, either in Windows or Linux, so that they "become" normal Orinocos?
