Ummm, keep in mind that the 11b cards are 5V, and the 11a/b cards are 3.3V
(CardBus).  The difference comes to about 33%, and only in the Transmit
(1.5W vs 2W).

I've seen *tons* of references to a 3.3V 11b cards in the ORiNOCO drivers,
but I have yet to encounter a non-5V Hermes chipset.  Then again, there
are references to a "Ruby" chipset in the newer drivers, but...
