I have a different problem. Last week my Linksys befw11s4 stopped
working after over a year of no problems. It had been behaving oddly
for about a week before (about Christmas) but I had guests and didn't
check it. The dhcp server was working but it wasn't routing. I
finally had some time and tried to administer it only to find that I
can't... no http. Try netcat, no response. Watch with tcpdump and see
no response. Reset it. No good. Reset to factory defaults. No
good. Upload a new flash upgrade via tftp. Succeeds but still no
administration via http. Ran a nmap scan against it and find that all
ports are filtered. Using tcpdump I see that it is broadcasting the
unPNP (udp/1900) junk across the switch ports and that on the WAN port
it is sending DHCP requests. The wireless-side dhcp server is still
working (but handing out defaults). Very strange.

Anyone seen anything like this?
