I've been thinking lately to cycle the power on my machines while I'm
away (My Linksys often locks up, making the whole network inaccessible
from the outside. Google posts and personal experience show just
recycling gets it working again...)

A couple devices let you power on and off a machine simply by calling
in and typing in a code. FYI, Here's the one's I've found.

Consumer (X10 --$55.95):

Industrial (DATAPROBE $275)

Has anyone on list tackled this issue before? Does anybody know some
better choices for a phone-based remote controller?

Thanks in advance.

Rob
