Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     2/4: 9 TRUMPETER and 4 TUNDRA SWANS were seen from VanDyne Spoor road.







Onondaga County

------------




     Two CHIPPING SPARROWS are still coming to a feeder in Manlius and appear 
to be overwintering.

     2/3: The female DICKCISSEL was again seen at Century Stables on Limeledge 
Road in Marcellus.

     2/5: 2 COMMON GRACKLES were seen at a feeder in Baldwinsville. An AMERICAN 
WIGEON was seen from the West Shore Trail on Onondaga Lake.

     2/6: A RUDDY DUCK was seen in the inner Harbor of Onondaga Creek near 
Destiny Shopping Mall.

     2/7: A WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW was seen on Pompeu Center Road south of Rt. 
20. A SNOWY OWL was seen at Hancock Airport. A CHIPPING SPARROW was seen on 
Comstock Street in Syracuse.

     2/8: A RED-WINGED BLACKBIRD was seen on Sunview Drive in Elbridge.

     2/9: An adult male BARROW’S GOLDENEYE was found on the Oswego River in 
Phoenix. Because the county line divides the river the bird can be counted in 
Onondaga and Oswego Counties as it moves. No report yet today.







Oswego County

------------




     The LARK SPARROW coming to a feeder on Hinman Road north of Pulaski was 
present today making it the 35th. day it has been seen.

     2/5: A TUNDRA SWAN was found on Guile Road in Fulton.

     2/9: The afore mentioned BARROW’S GOLDENEYE was seen by many on the Oswego 
River in Phoenix. At Oswego Harbor an ICELAND GULL, a BLACK SCOTER and the male 
HARLEQUIN DUCK are still being seen. 3CACKLING GEESE were seen from the Rt.57 
pulloff near Owens Road north of Phoenix. A FIELD sparrow continues at a feeder 
in Constantia.

     2/10: A WOOD DUCK was again found at Indian Point on the Oswego River 
north of Fulton.







Cayuga County

------------




     2/4: 2 RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS, an adult and a juvenile, were seen at Fair 
Haven State Park.

     2/9: TRUMPETER, TUNDRA and MUTE SWANS were seen at Fair Haven.







Madison County

------------




     2/4: A GLAUCOUS GULL and 3 ICELAND GULLS were seen at the Madison County 
Landfill south of Canastota.

     2/8: A NORTHERN SHRIKE continues on Eden Hollow Road east of Erieville.







Oneida county

------------




     2/5: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen from Rt. 31 west of Turning Stone Casino.







Herkimer County

------------




     2/3: 2 PINE SISKINS were seen north of Lake Rondaxe near Old Forge.
