Ben Goodger posted the famous "Bring it on" reposte to the borg's
browser challenge
when Firefox was first released. Shortly after our Auckland boy left his
mark on Mozilla Firefox
he took up tech lead of the Chrome UI.
Here is an excellent link to the story behind Chrome. The acquisitions,
motivations etc.

The browser wars are over, anyone can put together a good one now by
copying Google's lead.
Its not about who owns the browser any more, its about owns the cloud.
He who owns the cloud can rain on the other guys parade.
Further outlook: Light drizzle.
