Firstly, kudos to you Don, for getting off your arse and getting the
ball rolling.
Secondly, not being able to attend meetings, since there are a grand
total of ZERO in Palmerston North, despite some murmurings about it a year ago
or so... I would be a keen viewer, so +1 from me for the live casts but more
the archived footage. However, a resounding -1 for hosting via YouTube...
surely there is a better place?
Thirdly, Vodafone have their issues, but it would be great to see them
back this. For a relatively minor value of sponsorship (an hour of streaming a
month, maybe 3 hours if Ak, Wgtn and Chch all get behind it... what's that,
like 0.000000001% of their annual marketing budget?) they could do their
reputation some serious good where it's needed the most... the techno
cognoscenti.
