First, I agree, many smaller places around NZ can't orginise meetings 
for presentations.  Many of us with family also can't always get to 
meetings.

YouTube - where ever.  I'm for keeping things simple.

The first objective is to just get the meetings all videoed and archived.

Next we need to get the audio live.

Then we need to get the video live.

If you want to get some debate going about the best ways to do that, 
kewl, me, I'm going to focus on just getting the basics done first.  We 
can then improve it all.

I would like to hear more about the FLOSS technology to do it though.

What tools do we use to stream audio?

Everyone has issues.

Don't even get me started about the truck loads of fibre that TC have in 
the ground that no one can use!

VF's Paul agrees with you about the relative values and returns.

He doesn't sign off on the marketing budget or the way they do things. 
I think if it was up to him, he would have just sent me a vodem and a 
10gb plan to use as we see fit.
